Fall
When the fall colors dancing around through the air.
The people are happy that thanksgiving will be here,
enjoying the weather is kind of neat,
to be with family and friend
and to say thank you for the good food we eat.

I think fall is nice
when the leaves turn colors
and when you walk in bush
and you can hear different sounds of the trees and now summer has endnow
winter is coming soon

An Autumn Walk
On the wet streets of town I walk to school
Through the rustling leaves on the sidewalk I go
I see my neighbours raking up the falling leaves
so colorful they are to me
Squirrels scamper to gather food for the winter
Above me the geese are flying to head south for the winter
As the rain came down making the air feel cold and wet
Dressed in a warm coat I see jack-o-la turns everywhere
All the swimming pools are gone for now
Kids dressed warmly going to school
The trees blow in the wind as colorful leaves they are as they hit the wet
houses with smoke coming from their stacks
At night street lights glow
Children dressed as goblins, ghosts with bags and bags of candy they carry
As I walk home that night how quiet it seems
Seeing my breath in the cold Autumn air
jack-o-la turns all a glow
I finally come home as I warm up as my furnace kicks on and off
Just keeping me warm and dry all night long by Margaret K |

Autumn
The hills of the shoreline sparkle with frost,
adding shine to the yellows and greens.
The breeze moves the fog, but it wont get lost,
rising slowly like smoke in a dream.
Pin Cherry and Alder wear their leaves like a suit,
giving shelter to the ferns and the grass.
The mountain ash droops with the weight of it's fruit,
it will hold until winter has passed.
The sky brightens slightly from a dull shade of grey,
as the sun starts to rise in the sky.
Despite the low light of the sun shortened day,
the frost will soon start to dry.
I will stand here tomorrow and watch it again,
as another fall morning arrives,
and despite all the change, it will remain the same,
and it will for the rest of our lives.

Leaves falling,
change of the weather.
You have to wear a heavier coat or a sweatshirt.
I'm not ready to wear a
winter coat yet!
Fall's nice ...
seeing all the nice colours of the leaves.
The deer are all
hiding
because it's hunting season.
